IFC Scholarship Recipients

IFC would like to thank all of those who applied for our scholarship this year! 1st place went to Syfuddin Rashid of Sigma Phi Epsilon who won $3000, 2nd place went to Noland Smith of Beta Theta Pi who won $2000, and the honorable mentions were Jeffrey McNabb of Delta Tau Delta, and Andrew Taylor of Phi Gamma Delta who each won $1000. Here’s a little bit about each of our recipients:

Sy is studying Nuclear and Radiological Engineering and is graduating spring of 2015. He is a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. He has held many positions within Sig Ep, including VP of communications and Historian. He has been heavily involved in IFC and FASET.

Noland is studying Industrial Engineering and is graduating in 2015. He is a member of Beta Theta Pi. He has held many positions within Beta, including VP of Programming, Executive Secretary, and House manager. He has been heavily involved in IFC and SAA.

Jeffrey is studying aerospace engineering and is graduating in May of 2015. He is a member of Delta Tau Delta. He has held many positions within Delt, including being the current president. He has also participated in undergraduate research and is in many honor societies at Tech.

Andrew is studying Industrial Engineering and is graduating in Fall of 2014. He is a member of Phi Gamma Delta. He has held many positions within Fiji, including Social Chair twice and Recording Secretary. He has been heavily involved in GT Student Foundation and GT for the Kids.
