Georgia Tech IFC awards $8,000 dollars in scholarships. $7,000 dollars will be awarded to 4 active members of a Georgia Tech IFC fraternity or a member awaiting initiation. A $1,000 dollar scholarship will be awarded to an incoming freshman. Selections will be based on leadership, academic achievement, and campus involvement. The top applicant that exemplifies excellence in all three categories will receive a $3,000 scholarship. A runner-up scholarship of $2,000 dollars will be awarded along with two $1,000 dollar scholarships for applicants deserving an honorable mention.
The application was due on April 7th, 2014 at 5:00 PM. If selected for a follow-up interview, the applicants were contacted shortly after the date. The scholarships for members of an IFC fraternity were awarded at the Up with the White and Gold ceremony on April 21st.
Incoming Freshmen Scholarship:
Selections will be based on leadership, academic achievement and high school involvement. The top applicant that exemplifies exellence in all three of these categories will receive the $1000 scholarship.
Applications are due August 29th at 5:00pm. If selected for a follow up interview, the applicant will be notified shortly after.
You must be registered in ICS (free) for rush in the Fall. You do not have to join a fraternity to receive the scholarship. Fraternities do not have to extend a bid based on this scholarship.
