Selections will be based on leadership, academic achievement, and involvement. This scholarship is only open to new members of any year in school who joined an IFC fraternity in the Fall of 2015.
The top applicants that exemplify exellence in all three of these categories will receive the $1000 scholarships. Applications are due October 16th at 5:00pm. If selected for a follow up interview, the applicant will be notified shortly after.

Fall rush week will be held from August 13th - 18th begining with the kickoff event at 6pm on the 13th in the Ferst Theater (located by the Student Center). If you are interested at all in joining a Fraternity or learning more about the process, you are invited to visit chapter houses to learn more about them individually as well as the Greek community as a whole.
Georgia Tech IFC will be awarding scholarships to 5 active members of Georgia Tech IFC Fraternities. Selections for these scholarships will be based on leadership, academic achievement and involvement, both inside their respective chapters, and on the campus level. The top applicant who exceeds in these fields will receive a $3,000 scholarship. A runner-up will receive a $2,000 dollar scholarship, and three honorable mentions will each receive a $1,000 dollar scholarship.
Congratulations to Alex Zdanov of the Sigma Nu Fraternity for winning the IFC New Member Scholarship of $1,000. He displayed excellence in all criteria for the award. Thank you to all new members that applied.
This November 7th-18th, IFC presents Man Up Week. In combination with educational programming, IFC will also host a 3v3 Soccer Tournament on November 7th. Proceeds will go to Grass Roots Soccer, which is an organization focusing on AIDS education and prevention in third world countries. Georgia Tech IFC awards $8,000 dollars in scholarships each year. $7,000 dollars was awarded to 4 active members of a Georgia Tech IFC fraternity in the Spring of 2014. Selections were based on leadership, academic achievement, and campus involvement. The recipients exemplified excellence in all three categories.

IFC would like to thank all of those who applied for our scholarship this year! 1st place went to Syfuddin Rashid of Sigma Phi Epsilon who won $3000, 2nd place went to Noland Smith of Beta Theta Pi who won $2000, and the honorable mentions were Jeffrey McNabb of Delta Tau Delta, and Andrew Taylor of Phi Gamma Delta who each won $1000.
